In 2013, Brock received an honourable mention as one of Canada's top 25 emerging artists in CAPIC's "Rodeo 6" contest. Brock also spent some time as sessional instructor at MacEwan University teaching a variety of photography classes in Edmonton from 2013 to 2017.
